192k to 384k? ~~~August 1st changes~~~

yay my line synch is now 384.
Still got 192 speeds though:(
 
Brawler it looks like you busy getting upgraded! just for interest sake, what is your area code?

I did fone them ... and told me ... u ask for the upgrade ...
they said " if your line is not at the right speed by the end of august then log a support call"

before then wait your turn ... and shut up ..in true telkom style ..

I'm syncing at 384/128, not going at that speed yet, but I'm going somewhere now, so I will be holding thumbs that it's achieved full speed when I return... :D
 
i just phoned telkom (0800 dls dls) and just held on, did not select any options and got though to Dale. (Under 2 min.) I said i want an upgrade and he made me hold for 2 min. then said ok, done? i still dont see any diff though???

Does this mean my router is synced at 320/128? (above post)
 
After major storm and power outage, my modem syncing at 384. More than usual errors, but I think that might be the weather.

Throughput still 20KB/s. Atleast it is progressing. Any idea how long it will take from here before full speed will be reached?

erm ... jis foned telkom again ...

and they tell me i'v bee upgraded already ...
but no speed :-(

the techie says ... maybe ...they will first get it synced and then get speed.
