192k to 384k? ~~~August 1st changes~~~

I just have a funny feeling that from midnight a 384 line will sync at 384, 512 at 512 etc. (Doing away with their silly software speed limiter...)

I wouldn't be so sure! has telkom ever done anything on time?

I bet you at this time tommorow evening speeds will be exactly the same if not worse.

any bets?

Stupid dial-up.

/me points and laughs at Christiaan! :D

That's not too bad for dial-up though, I remember getting 2-3kB/s during the dial-up era

I think u guys are too optimistic.... Telkom aint that fast... to actually upgrade u all at the Same hour of midnight of the 1st :>> lol

Please do tell, if and when u are upgraded....

Well their accounts department seems to be very efficient when billing you from the first second past midnight :(

Let's hope they get around to it during the day though

I can predict telkom's response to the upgrade question: It is imminent
