whats your download speed?

Well, last night i was getting an incredible 2.4kbps, but this morning, thank god, things have improved:

Your line speed is approximately 150.4 Kbps or 18.4 kBytes/sec
How do you know what you sync at
You can check on your router (If your router is the standard Telkom Marconi, log in and check under the ADSL settings, halfway down the page it shows you a list of variables - SNR Margin, Line Attenuation, etc. - look for the one that says Data Rate: the number on the left is your downstream, on your right is your upstream.)

Anyone know where to find this on a wrt54gl with dd-wrt firmware?

Line is now syncing at 384/128

Speed tests haven't changed at all from 192k

Wtf are they up to?
mine had always synced at 320/192. But download was always 20kb/s and still is. Telkom is full of it.

The WRT does not have an ADSL modem in, it's just a router. You probably have another device between the WRT and your telephone socket, you need to look on this device (the ADSL modem) at what speed it's synching at.

how do u check ?

how would u know what ya line is syncing at ?

and whats speeds can be expected for 384 ?

Ok never mind .. found it ..it's 384/128 but the speeds have not changed :-( ? from 192 on the test

This is what I have been getting since last Saturday on my 192k line...

Download time: 11.953 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 341.3 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 41.8 (kiloBytes/second)

What should my router downstream be?
Nice :) Lucky u man... I am still stuck on 192k here

lots of upgrades and most of the lines that have been upgraded went down LMAO
was that really worth it?

i just checked my router and it was sitting on 320kbps/192kbps now its 384kbps/128kbps, so something is happening. I am still not seeing and speed change on the speed test though
