192k to 384k? ~~~August 1st changes~~~

Hehe, I knew it!

Everybody still on 192! I rebooted my router and it's still syncing at 192, as per the telkom speed test!

So I wonder when they will flip the magical switch to make us all go faster, they are the bestest broadband in all of SA, right ;) www.bestbroadband.co.za
 
On my router is syncing as 320... so i donno wats up.. will give them a phone call and keep u guys up to date .... :)
 
Some person from telskum called me about a month ago and told me about the upgrade of lines to 384 and asked if I wanted my line upgraded .... obviously I said yes ... ever since ... my line has been schweeeeet :) ...
sorry, but I did not bother to get their number :( ... was in the middle of something else at the time and it only occured to me afterwards :(

I'm on dsl192

(then again my router has reported over 25000 CRC errors in the last hour and a half)

so my line is SLOOOOW :(
 
I wouldn't be surprised if there are endless ADSL problems with this upgrade.
Upgrading everyone from 192 to 384 is going to put the ADSL infrastructure under serious strain.

What should my router downstream be?

41.8 (kiloBytes/second) is exactly the speed i get on 384k, hooray! \o/

Line is now syncing at 384/128

Speed tests haven't changed at all from 192k

Wtf are they up to?
