Everybody's knows that Capetonians are too chilled and relaxed to care, that's why you guys always come last :D

Your line speed is approximately 352.4 Kbps or 43.2 kBytes/sec
( Where kb = kilobits and kB = kiloBytes )

(DSL192)

I went in to the customer services branch yesterday. It seems that if you don't ask you don't get.

my modem only syncs at 384down/128up, but the speeds are good and latency is normal.

I would like to thank telkom for this upgrade. I think this is about as good as it gets in Africa!

what about 028? Damn I Hope they don't do CT last as I'm close to CT and Telkoms last might be next year sometime :(

for the last say, 2 weeks or so, I have been syncing at 2Mbps, now today it is back to 384kbps, but I still have a line speed of 192k :( what could have happened there?

Telkom are testing your synchronization at 384, line speed wont change from 192 just yet.. only once they have successfully tested that your line wont drop the synch at 384, will they fully implement the speed upgrade...
