Maybe when they launch 4M it will go like this.....

1M gets upgraded to 2M

512K upgraded to 1M

384K upgraded to 512K

There would be a price reduction and the new 4M line would cost as much as the current 1M.

You wish :D

all 1 meg subscribers will have an up to 4m conection if your line can handle it you will get 4m else downgrade until it sync not les most prob then 512

this what i would think

I got this yesterday as well, even if I press CTRL + F5
O well

upgraded (even though i would rather have a cheaper 192)

getting a constant 35 - 40kbps on downloads(test downloads, usually only online gaming)

Well, I seem to have been downgraded. My line does not sync at 512 anymore, but at 384 :(

prozak

synch speed has dropped yes, but speed through put should still be good

thing about synch speed, In my experience the higher your synch speed the better your latency. Back in the days when I use to synch at 2mb I could download at full speed and game with a latency of +-50
