Pity, AB & Smith started off brilliantly, I know Kallis isn't the fastest batsman around but come on, a run a ball should be chips on that wicket.

Oh well, at least we still in the comp.

Kallis is the worst ODI player ever. He has a good average - 'cos that's all he ****ing bats for :(
 
Kallis batted very slow. We'll make up for it in the Super 8s. Well done boys it was a good effort. If Smith hadn't had that cramp things wouldve been a bit different I think.
 
I agree with that, the innings complete went pear shaped after that. Still Kallis.. was dreadful. Also why did prince come in before boucher?
 
What about the bowlers?

All giving the batsmen the blaim. I really think the bowlers is to blame.

They always depend on the batsmen to chase any score.

Smith left Ntini and Pollock for 5 overs each before any changes. IMO he should have made a bowl change a bit earlier. After that 10 overs the Aussies confidence were already sky high!
 
And before the team left for the WC Kallis actually said he was gonna up his scoring rate..LOL That's so funny :rolleyes:
 
Bouch, Polly, Kallis, Kemp...none of them seemed themselves. I know it was a big task but blocking almost every single ball is not on man. I seriously believe this match was ours. ABs run out was unlucky and Smith is usually fitter than that...must've been the heat or something, it looks like a stinker there.
