That is called assumption.

And atleast it would have looked as if we tried !

Thats not how you play cricket!!
What you do is hit one 4, then a couple singles per over, over after over, till the 43rd over. Then you go out fighting!!!

That is in the ideal game....

When your stuck with 2 wickets and need 11 runs a over... You go down fighting. Not playing like a little group of school children during their school break.

No ways! If I was playing Ill frustrate the crap out of the fielding side! Let them work for a full 50 overs.

That is predictable cricket. Fortunately mostly club cricketers and a few sub continental cricket teams play that way.

 a group of school children?
yoh... what kind of school did u go to? a girl's school?!

lol in our school 4s and 6s were the way to go just like in any other normal school. And Aus's record of successfuly chasing 250+ is 59% IIRC from the commentary the other night.

Lol!! Oh yes 438 right? How could I forget...
*sigh* - why is that the only game that you can remember? How about SA vs your favourites (Pakistan)? SA: 392/6 (all guns blazing from the word go), Pakistan limped to all out in the 47th over - for a measly 228.

Their success rate may be 59%, but you'll never see them just give up like we did. I don't mind losing once in a while, especially if it was a good match. The Bangladesh match has made me really angry because of the way we just gave up.

NOW THIS IS WHY WE'RE SO UPSET !

Wish that JK8 can see that :p
