Don't think I'll ever buy one, but think it's a neat little car...

The exciting new Ford Ka, Ford's fresh, fun and funky small car, will take centre-stage at the 2008 Paris Motor Show in October.

The all-new Ford Ka brings new levels of style and enjoyment to affordable city cars.

Twelve years after the original Ford Ka was launched to great acclaim, its successor captures the same youthful and cheeky spirit. The new model retains all of the qualities which made the Ford Ka so popular - its compact size, great looks, lively dynamics and fun personality - but presents them in a fresh new package.

Stylish Inside and Out

Ford designers have given the new Ford Ka a fashionable, modern appearance based around the company's 'kinetic design' form language. A number of visual cues provide a connection to the original Ford Ka, but with its distinctive face and chunky proportions the new model has its own unique character.

The interior of the new Ford Ka also has a stylish, dynamic design, combining bold contrasts and expressive colours which reflect the more adventurous tastes of the typical Ford Ka buyer.

Rebirth of a Design Icon

The new model is destined to continue the considerable success of the original Ford Ka, which is widely considered to be an automotive design icon. Launched at the Paris Motor Show in 1996, the Ford Ka was immediately praised for its exciting "New Edge" styling and class-leading driving dynamics.

Throughout its 12-year life the Ford Ka has remained tremendously popular among small-car buyers, inspiring fierce loyalty from its owners. In total, Ford Ka production has exceeded 1.4 million vehicles.

Further information on the new Ford Ka range will be released in time for the Paris Motor Show in early October 2008.

Much much nicer than the previous shape.

I really don't trust ford though - their services are shocking!!!

Sorry i'm about to derail the thread but what car brand is? I am looking for a car for next year when i get my license any idea's?

VW Citi's are still great cars; Only problem is that they are heavily targeted by criminals.

Can't really suggest anything for that price - maybe just keep an eye out at second hand car dealerships - i'm sure you'll find something you love soon enough.

nothing over 50 000 my mom is buying i was looking at the VW Citi but its a bit pricey.

Im sure the 2005/6 1.4i Velocitis are around that price, or go for a MK3 Gti or a Mk4 1.6 or 2.0. If you can find a good condition car of the few I mentioned I think youll be satisfied.

Now this one is a hell of an improvement.

It kinda looks like a baby corsa with baby ST rims!:p

Its weird how everything gets bigger...

Think the Fiesta... I mean it was the size of the KA now its pretty big, now the KA seems to going towards the Fiesta's size... In 5 years we will see a new smaller "Ka replacement"

But I have to agree, that is one sexy car, now they just need to keep the prices the same... Think its influenced a lot by the Mazda 2 tho :D

Funny how the first fiesta did not look to great then the next fiesta was a beauty.

The first ka was crazy but this is just WOW.

Hot, hot, hot, I love small cars and there are some lovely ladies to choose from. Pity I cannot even afford a service for my aged and battered little Honda Luxline :(

Ford is going from strength to strength... Also Mazda is at an all time high, think that helps Ford along as well, sharing of technology the Japanese influance and sharing of platforms

Except, the Ka doesn't share a platform with the Mazda 2 in this scenario...

You call this improvement a strength?
