2010 LOC falling apart

Wouldn't it be a bit silly to parachute in their own people if the event is happening somewhere else?

Whatcha mean? We will have legalized prostitution, shebeens, Big taxi`s (To kill more people in), Load shedding of stadia, many pockets to be lined.. No way they can take over!!

I read the story and personally I dont think there is much to this story it just seems like sensational journalism. Sure there may very well be infighting, but what company doesnt have managerial infighting at some stage.

Its like saying the mining industry is going to collapse because there are problems with Anglo's management, which clearly will not hppen.

 Infighting is counter-productive. Management people that are wirth their weight in salt are taught to look at the business and get on with it. Thats where the companies mission statement comes from.

NO Company works when the management are fighting each other. Dont confuse 'debate' or 'disagreement' with infighting.

Please FIFA take away the SWC from SA. It's not worthy of such an honour.

On the other hand, if we do host it, there'll be a much bigger international spotlight on our corrupt government, energy inefficiencies, rampant crime rate and the like.

Yet another silly article that says nothing at all. Pathetic.
Everything is on track, CT is ahead of schedule. Take it away from SA? Please.

Quite true...We'll be under the spotlight day and night...which might just be a good thing at the end...

Kind of like: "Let's deal with the power shortages after it's upon us?"

Exactly what he said. He's suggesting that things are not rosy and that if SA pulls it off we can be sure its capable of pulling it off. Load shedding is opposite, you should rather have said "We'll be sure there's enough power available once all switches in the country are switched on and the grid doesn't collapse."

I still think Germany will get it.
