2011 Super Rugby (Super 15) thread

Well next week should be interesting with the Sharks taking on Crusaders in Twickenham. Hopefully they play more running rugby than today because today hopefully proved to Plumtree that kick and chase doesnt work.

Hey Hey!!!!!

Adi - thanks for kicking the ball once to the Chiefs and once into touch .... nice aimless shyte

Also knew it was a matter of time before the Durr Brothers would lose us a match due to idiotic play ..... thanks for the penalties chops

Missed the game (was at work). If it was kick and chase, do not think I missed much. Has never been a successful game plan for the Sharks. I keep saying that it isn't possible to win the game without ball in hand.

The Lions can't win. They just can't.

There can only be 2 powerful franchises in SA and the others will always pathetically weak.

Unless the Lions are one of the 2 they will always lose.

Man Habana really is **** ..... I hope he doesn't make the Bokke squad just because he was something in the past. Pick him on form and coz he has none, don't pick him.

I can hear my neighbours blaming the ref... SHAME.
:D

The Stormers wanted it more.

The Bulls are going to have to learn soon, that the other teams have understood how they play. Kicking up and unders can't be your primary weapon of attack.

Ja boet, as they say in the papers it will simply read that Bryan Habana scores the deciding try at Loftus. He cost the Stormers one try and worked hard to make up for that and he did. It's just funny that nobody is saying similar things about a player like Pierre Spies he knocks the ball almost every single time, he never steals it on the ground, he doesn't jump in the line-outs, he hardly ever picks up from the base of the scrum, he never runs anymore, he rarely catches from kickoffs and how is it that the lightest guy in Super rugby (Gio Aplon) can so easily bring down a man the size of Pierre Spies ? He is useless, refuses to work and gives away penalties but everybody loves him, because he wears a bulls jersey. And that is just one example.

Yep, but they also need to start blooding youngsters in certain positions. Some of the usual are way off the pace and it's hurting the team.
