It is the second successive year that the Stormers have finished second, and they will now wait to see who wins the qualifier in New Zealand next week between the Sharks and the Crusaders.

Either of those opponents would mean a massive day at Newlands, as they are both popular sides in the Cape.

Just thinking... Sharks go to NZ to meet with the Crusaders. Could then be back to SA to play Stormers. And then potentially back to Aus for the final. Ouch!

No they play the Stormers. From Super 15 website

The first placed team from the regular season will play the team who won the match between the fourth and fifth placed teams in week 1 of the play offs.

The second placed team from the regular season plays the team that won the match between the third and sixth placed team.

I trust the super15 site more than supersport,stormers play highest ranked qualifier, so either crusaders or winner of blues vs waratahs.

haha, you know the new format is a fail when a week away from the playoffs and with all pool games decided no one knows who will play whom and where...

I've not enjoyed this Super 15 at all... Nothing more than a glorified CC...
