With a little luck, a hung parliament. Block each other and they are less likely to pass any more stupid laws.

Parliament : lib dem
City Council : 1 Labour and 1 Greens ( we get 2 votes)
Local Parish : 2 labour and 1 Green(3 votes)

No lib dem candidates in my area for City Council and local parish.

I just couldn't get myself to vote Tory. Just considering it, and I felt I needed a shower as soon as I got home :) no way I could vote Labour in the parliamentary election with that dom do*s Ed Balls potentially being Chancelor. He was directly responsible, with Brown and Donald Duck(ed milliband) for deregulating the banks during the last Labour govt.

Labour categorically ruled out an SNP coalition multiple times over the past few months. If they go back on their word, come next 10 elections they are guaranteed to lose to the Tories because the English voters will be pissed.

More likely: Minority government, vote of no confidence and new elections in December.

Did Labour ever rule out a Labour/SNP/Plaid Cymru/Green coalition? ;).

Or even an informal alliance of some or all of the above parties without an official coalition?

Many ways to skin a cat...

Labour ruled out any type of coalition with the SNP. I still wouldn't rule it out though. Btw, did you know that for many years, the SNP headed a minority govt in Scotland propped up by Tories :)

But you voted for the Greens, so I suppose you will be giving yourself a Bleach enema instead?

I didn't hear Milliband rule out any type of coalition, just an official Labour/SNP coalition. It's all in the words, the very specific words, just like he never said there wouldn't be a Labour/SNP/Plaid coalition.

Think back, he was quite specific, repeated it more than once.

I think Milliband would be tarred and feathered by Labour supporters if he refused to join the SNP and Plaid to keep the Tories out.

A man after my own heart. Would have probably have voted the same. Clegg needs to go though, he has dirtied the lib dems rep by rubbing shoulders with the tories.

Agreed. I was looking at The Guardian today and couldn't find an article that trash talks the opponents. Even had an op ed criticising Labour, while the paper endorses them.

Serious? Then you are looking in the wrong section of the Guardian. All they do is bash Tories. Lol.

Yes of course I want Farage to win. I dont view Cameron as a real conservative given that net migration has risen under the coalition, has not given the UK a referendum on the EU like he said he would and has not cut the ridiculous international budget yet cuts local services etc.

No, they don't seem like national socialism in the slightest. You're just playing devils advocate. You have personally complained about how they have been painted as Fascists and Nazis before on these very forums.

They are more libertarian than any party in Britain, and I wouldn't refer to them as nationalist at all, they are an independence movement. They don't plan to nationalize a God damned thing. They would privatize everything if they could, and sell what's left of Britain to the rest of the world. They dampened that rhetoric when it was found that Brits fkn hate that idea.

UKIP just have a hard on for social conservatism, traditionalism, the free market, and the "Anglosphere". That's why you like them.

Um no, that is patently false

The UK Libertarian Party can take that claim - http://libertarianpartyuk.com/
UKIP are not a libertarian party in the slightest - being anti-immigration on their basis is a non-starter

UKIP can be described as fiscally conservative and socially stupid if you are being charitable

BREAKING NEWS: Exit poll puts Tories on course for 316 seats with Labour on 239 as SNP makes big gains and Lib Dems face an election bloodbath*

By Matt Chorley, Political Editor and Tom McTague, Deputy Political Editor for MailOnline22:01 07 May 2015, updated 22:11 07 May 2015

David Cameron's hopes of remaining in Downing Street received a huge boost tonight as a shock exit poll showed the Conservatives are on course to make gains in the general election.*

The poll predicts the Tories to be the biggest party, gaining 14 seats to win 316 with Labour losing 17 to be left with 239 as the SNP wins all but one of the 59 seats in Scotland.

The Lib Dems face a bloodbath, left with just 10 seats out of 56 as voters reject Nick Clegg's decision to enter coalition with the Tories five years ago.*

with the nonsense from the parties I don't know why they don't just save a lot of money and let Charlotte make the decisions - better outcomes likely

Don't think Elizabeth is going let go so soon....that woman is gonna outlive her great grandchildren.

My bad. I was talking about parties that people have heard of, which actually receive significant votes.

UKIP are not a libertarian party in the slightest - being anti-immigration on their basis is a non-starter

UKIP can be described as fiscally conservative and socially stupid if you are being charitable

I didn't say they were libertarian, I said they were MORE libertarian than the other parties (which are far from economically libertarian).
It was in response to the suggestion that UKIP are "mildly socialist", so you can see that it was said in the context of economics, not immigration. I'm amazed that you would nit pick my post instead of going for the jugular of his.
He compared them to the NSDAP of all things lol

Their economic policies are far from libertarian as well - you can't reduce taxes if you are buying more guns to go fox and immigrant hunting
