If you can't look at the new A3 and see how dated it is then you're an Audi fanboy.

Audis used to be very popular cars on the road. I hardly see newer models anymore. Everyone can see that Audi has gone to hell. Even Tavcor here in PE, who have the rights to Audi and VW, have all their display spots filled with VW vehicles now.

Volvo is the new Audi and Audi is the new Volvo.
 
Then there is the flawed logic of calling the dulled down station wagon version Sportback instead of Avant. Ja nee...

My experience with them is completely different here in PTA. Boatloads of new Audis on the road. A3s, A5s, Q3s, Q5s etc.

And I don't think the A3 is dated at all. It looks fantastic, IMO. Interior is also miles ahead of the 1 series and A Class.

Sales don't mean they're good products. Call of Duty is the best selling video game franchise of all time and most of the games suck ass. There is an abundance of clueless consumers in this world.

I actually think that BMWs are becoming too common, that no matter how great they may look, they're so common that they're boring. You'd have to be mad to drop half a bar on something that everyone else has.

MB is still cool though, except I don't like how the rear of the new C-class looks - it looks like it was ripped from some Chinese car...

And that makes one more person lending their voice to the fact that MB have lost the plot with rear designs. C Class, A, CLA, etc.

But have you seen what the Quattro Audis do the competition? It's embarrassing, really. Perhaps that is what BMW and Mercedes should do nowadays. Throwing more power doesn't equate to more performance on their performance models

Not liking a styling is one thing but calling anyone that likes what you don't like soulless is just baiting for reactions, I.e. trolling.
 
I agree the current "face" of the A3 is a little dainty and soft. It needs a bit more design and aggression like the new TT. I love the rear half though and the rear angular lights. The A3 sedan is probably the best looking booted Audi at the moment.

Now all you people saying how you'd rather drive a horse to work than an RS3 - you can't afford it anyway.

You know what they say about people obsessed with things, like race, sexual orientation etc. It's because deep down they want it bad. :D

So you saying consumers, making the 2nd biggest purchase of their lives, will do the same due diligence as they would if they were buying a video game?

I'm a MB fan but have to agree. The new c-class rear is hard to love.

About sales figures, if you want to be unique then avoid the number one selling items.
