2016 Hyundai Tucson (3rd Generation)

Saw this on another forum. I like the look of the tailgate but the wheels are a copy-paste affair :erm:

Let's hope it does well and that Hyundai doesn't price it to the moon and back

I am also not sure I like the black strip running the length of the car, but it breaks the monotonous colour of the bodywork so maybe it won't be so bad after all

The iX35 has been called the Tucson in some markets all along. Are you sure they are dropping the iX35 name?

Our fav channel CarBuyer confirmed it for UK; at least; check their Twitter feed. Very likely SA would follow suit. No doubt all details explain in full coming days.

I see that the Tucson nameplate is pretty much used for his homeland South Korea for the current ix35.

ROW markets has the ix35 moniker & now; appears; to revert back to Tucson name.

Was called Tucson in the US market too... It does appear that it is going back to that everywhere.

The last pictures shows a GPS map on the screen in the dash. Lets hope that is actually a feature.

For some reason, they included a upgraded colour screen in the 2015 ix35 without adding GPS navigation.

It is pretty small, yes. I just expected in-dash GPS navigation to be included in a car like this, by this year. I'm sure a 6" or 7" screen would not have been significantly more expensive.

looks like a bigger ford eco/kuga. the shapes of 4x4 causes me much heartache. they were distinguishable but now they all fugly and look the same. saw the new Nissan x-trail. almost cried. they really fsucked up a beautiful vehicle. fugly.

:D I've never understood the lack of RDS in Hyundai/Kia vehicles.

I found a way to enable it in my i30, heaven knows why they choose not to enable it at the dealerships before they are sold ???
