Just don't expect the same features that tuscon buyers will be getting at the the same price in other countries..

tried it... doesnt work... can get into the menus, but it only gives me a GEN mode and KOR mode...

quiet easy to get into it... just followed the instructions
 
So looking at it's direct competitor's prices (Kia Sportage) I have to ask myself - except for the 7yr warranty, why would I not just go and rather buy a Forrester?

At R360K, it puts the vehicle into the same category of many other similar make/models. Direct comparison between an X-Trail and ix35, and I would be pushed toward the X-Trail. Still it is a steep price.

The 7 year warranty is a big bold statement, but I am not altogether convinced that it rewards the owner in the longer term.

Saw two now when going past Hyundai Milnerton branch. It's a properly looker...like really.

I'll go as far as to say arguably best in class. They done an excellent job on the exterior front.

Takes the new pig-face Sportage front behind on looks...(we all know mechanically it's the same car.

In the last round the Sportage was the looker vs ix35; this time around it's a different story.

Pricing is key...
 
I said in the beginning they would go back to Tucson............... Never liked these numbers.

We have a Tucson, a Getz and an Atos. None of this number nonsense. Bet sales dropped.
 
In Hyundai speak, the 'word' cars (Elantra, Accent, Tucson, Santa Fe) were meant for the American market and the numbered variants such as the i10, i20, i30, i40 etc were supposedly built for the Euro spec market.

Then again, the i30 station wagon is called the Elantra Touring in the States so I think it's just a case of the name than the actual car in some cases
