Indeed, very advantageous from a hijackers point of view. also one of the best things about the Golf is when you get out of and into the Astra.

Not really a concern of mine, as so far in my life, I have never been hijacked. Im sure they wont be targeting a golf mk7 as much as any other car these days. Even range rovers get hijacked.

I went to take a look at one today. Didn't get a chance to test drive it, but sat in the 1.4 Sport model (I am looking to buy something automatic at some stage).

I'll give it a second chance and take it for a test drive, but I must say that I found the seats pretty uncomfortable. Not sure if they weren't adjusted properly, but it felt like I was sitting on a rolled towel the whole time. There is like a ridge in the seat.

Other than that it looks like a pretty awesome car. Like I said, I'll give it a second chance and properly test drive it.
