2021 Salary increase / bonus

I also got a 0% increase, but my bonus was much higher than 2020.

Paid full salary throughout though. No bonuses, no 13th cheque etc.

Self employed, paid out a large % of retained earnings after a better than expected 2020/2021.

I wonder if Media24 will give the remaining staff an increase this year after they retrenched 600 people last year

A bunch of execs will get increases and bonusses for having successfully reduced the overall cost to the business. That's it though - probably.

Could have got a nice bonus at Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson

Sounds like a good time to resign. If he is that pivotal, they can't afford to lose him without the other roles filled, putting him in a good position to negotiate better pay.

If Karen keeps complaining about her husbands employer on social media, hubby might find himself unemployed and that R3000 bonus will look pretty attractive.

Only find out mine in March. Bad news is due to big medical aid changes happening on 1 Jan I am essentially having to switch to a much more expensive option. Works out as about a 10% pay cut.
