20GB for R199?

Unfortunately my problem was not sorted out but got worse. It went up to R516 from R299.
Instead of changing the R299 to R199, they added a new R199 but did not remove the R299.

BTW, did you get your new invoice with correct amount?
I'm sure it will be.

Thanks. I have received call from billing department.
They said they will fix the invoice properly by end of this month.
They have fixed my debit order amount that is going to be taken on 1st of November.

I just saw that my contract also went up from R199 to R299. Last month the 10+10 was correct at R199.
This is now what you get from being loyal. What is going on Telkom mobile?

I also renewed on the R199 10g + 10g special but received an SMS that the R299 will go off my account on the 31st??

What is going on? As usual the people at the call centre billing doesn't know jack about this special.........

Just wasted 16 Minutes on the phone (after calling back due to being cut off 2 minutes in), was placed on hold due to the chap answering having no clue what I'm talking about. I cut the call as he just kept me on hold waiting for his team leader.....

They phoned me on Friday morning to confirm whether or not I want to renew. Told me i would receive an email with the details - still haven't. Will see how it goes come the first :(

My account still has not been fixed, PM'd the rep last week no response still. Got a message saying that I will be debited R299 come end of the month. ******** useless.

Now this is ridiculous. 8ta phoned me last month to offer the 10gb midnight for free and I accepted the 24 month contract based on the 10+10 for R199.

Now the call center agent tells me that I have signed up for this new contract not them. The contract is now R299 for 20gb. They offer me a deal and then change it along the way to suite them.

Where is this REP? Has anyone else got this deal sorted?

My contract is ending this month and i was hoping to take advantage of this offer and renew it for another 24 months but i think i am just gonna let it roll on month to month until these billing issues are sorted :eek:

This is ridiculous. I hope it's sorted before my bill goes off. Rep please clarify situation.

UPDATE

Telkom Mobile just called me (maybe billing department). She said it is to late to change the debit order from R299 to R199 but they will credit me with R100. Next month I should only pay R99 and the month after that R199 again (will have to wait and see).

FFS - I phone them this morning to confirm the contract change on Friday. He checks the system and says all is good (If they bill me R299 I'm going to be PISSED since I confirmed the R199 twice now). I then ask him, just like the previous guys to confirm my email address and send me the details. The guy confirms and says he will send me my latest bill -

STILL NOTHING four hours later. How difficult is it to send a bloody email. I beet you my email address is still wrong on their system :mad:

They also said they would send d an email to us and nothing? I was assured my contract has been renewed for R199 (10+10gb) about 2 weeks ago but today I received an SMS saying that my contract to is due for renewal and that there is an exclusive offer for me??

Why did they send me the SMS if my contract has supposedly been renewed?
