2meg Connection

Got a few questions regarding multiple iBurst connection setup.

* What dual WAN wireless router is best suited for the PPPoE iBurst connection on a budget?
* and then let's say iBurst allows us to use more than 2 modems on one account, are there wireless routers that can handle more than dual WAN?
 
Right i will take the no answer as a BIG NO :( All i wanted was... a yes we are going to roll out a 2meg connection..... or a no we are not guess it was to much to ask for
 
If you read they busy sorting out the firmware on the new modems and when thats ready they will surely bring it out.
 
erm jannievanzyl has been running the new firmware on his modem for the last 4 months so i doubt they are still sorting out the firmware on the modem
 
It would be very cool to see the new modems in action...on a dual WAN set up ;)

Oh...and I might be pushing my luck here, but how about double throttled speed too when the new modems come out? But I guess that will be announced along with your price cut before month-end, hey Jannie ;)
 
Apologies for not answering yet, will check tomorrow. Been out-of-office all day.

The modems do exist and work well. I think the current problem is that we can't get an inexpensive defibrillator which you will need if you see the price.

But hang in there, I'll get the details.

LOL.. well just HOW expensive are these modems, that we'll need a defibrillator if we see the price??
 
bummer, I was hoping to get to 2mb without having to buy a new modem :(
 
Upgrade any time soon ?

Hi Guys,

I have a near perfect signal and get the most out of my 1Mb/s but it is just not enough anymore lol... any idea if this will be upgraded to say 2Mb/s or more anytime soon or will I need to move providers to get more speed.

On that is telkom then my only option as in ADSL ?

Last I heard was last year that they were testing the modems.
