Just tried "GPRS/EDGE Only" and I can connect - QOS, up and down 8640.000
The QoS will be completely different when you connect on 3G. Somehow we need to find out what the upgrade was that was done to my tower and request that they do it to yours! Please PM me your cell IDs.Just tried "GPRS/EDGE Only" and I can connect - QOS, up and down 8640.000

I think we're on to something here. Please PM me your contact telephone number [-]and city[/-] as well as the cell ID you are trying to connect to.Same problem here...have a k4605 running mobile partner v21 and can connect to all the other networks (3G) but not to cell c, except to the 2G cell c network, even though the 3G network is available - if i try and connect to it it just keeps on terminating the connection.
Glad it's working for you! Thanks for the feedback.Just bought 1 - Durban working - North beach tower 30293 at least
Hi guys can someone please help me
I have a Vodafone k3765 modem
I have flashed the firmware to replicate the cellc E1820 modem following the steps as per www.dc-files.com
Everything went except that I cannot connect to the internet using mobile partner and it does not open the Vodafone software anymore
It has been confirmed now that in order for you to establish a 3G connection with a Vodafone K4605 (Huawei E372), Cell-C need to do a software update at the RNC.My negotiated QoS downlink value changed from 16000 to 21000 sometime this weekend and now I am able to establish a 3G/HSPA+ connection.I have tried a Vodafone K4605 (Huawei E372), I am unable to connect on 3G even though signal strength is good and modem is registered on the network.
Connecting on '2G Only' works fine, if I try and switch to '3G Only' while connected the connection is dropped.
Morkhans tells me the modem connected on 3G in Port Elizabeth, but only after the 42Mbps launch.
Vodafone K3772-Z DL: 7.2Mbps / UL: 5.76Mbps
Added, thanks.Vodafone K3772-Z DL: 7.2Mbps / UL: 5.76Mbps, [-]HSPA+[/-]
I know the Vodafone K4505-Z (which I think is a rebadged MF668) doesn't use a CRC-9. How sure are you that it is a TS-9 though?Tested the external antenna connection of the Cell C ZTE MF668 at a friend's place. The external antenna connection reports the signal from the external antenna correctly.
However, we nearly wrote off my friend's CRC-9 connector he was using on his E367. We had to press very hard to get the connector into the ZTE modem. Seems the ZTE requires a TS9 connector![]()
