Hi Guys, i am new to this forum in terms of egistering, but have used it countless times before for info..
O well my time has come, and here I am, with an issue:
Modem:E1820
Router:Netgear MBRN 3000
Singla strength:Full/strong
Speedtest:Speedtest.net
Ping:30 - 50ms
My 8ta speeds have been decent for passed 3 months (4 - 6mb download) - speedtest.net with the occasional bumpy of up to 8 or 7 not and again.. this is connected through Netgear router.
now for about a week, the speed through router has dropped drastically, avergaing between 0.5 and 1.5mb download speed, with a relatively high upload speed of between 2-3mb.
But if i connect the modem directly to pc, I get my normal avergae of 4 - 6mbps.
What could be the issues?
if i reset my modem, it works fast for a few minutes and then back to slllooowwwww.
i am running the latest update/firmware on router.
No changes have been made to pc or router or modem..
