4096kbps gaming packages

I need a list of packages from different isps that offer a 4096kbps line with 5GB cap and price of less than R500. I need this for gaming so it should have low latency and low ping. I live on the upper north side of Durban and could this affect my internet connection. I currenly have that 1 mb line with 5GB cap free 3 month trial that telkom had to offer, and it is sh@t for gaming as it has bad ping and on MW3 i get 1 bar ping! I tried Gridhost and they seem to be offering a 4096kbps line with 5GB cap for just over R200, or could i be mistaken? Coul you guys also explain what unshaped means and how it is good for gaming. Also would a 1mb line on XBox give me 3/4 bar ping rather than a 1/2 bar on PS3.

Keep line with telkom and go for Afrihost or openweb capped products. Afrihost is R29/gig. I saw openweb had a unshaped acc for R19/gig yesterday. Your other option is to get the adsl line rental from another company and you pay a reduced price, 4mbs/10mbs line then goes for R359 excluding normal telephone line rental ofcourse.
