Let's talk PC gaming peripherals

Awesome products. The main reason behind this thread is to make buyers more aware about them having options and choices. Your post could very well make someone look into getting an ASUS ROG Strix Scope II.

I appreciate that ASUS has invested more into putting out quality product, but they have also doubled down on their premiums.

How is your Logitech G502 X Plus? No double clicks? The last I heard they are again using a new switch or rather new LIGHTFORCE, but I think all their high-end mice now use the hybrid optical-mechanical switches.

I was a long time G403/703 user until I gave up. I still have a good as new G403 LIGHTSPEED.
No double clicks, atleast none that I notice.

Very happy with both products.

same, every-time I have picked up a controller its like I'm lost at sea, nothing works where you expect it to be

Us controller guys can get used to a keyboard, I'm sure given a bit of time you will come right.
Obviously don't jump straight into a FPS or the like. Ease into it.

I only use controllers for fighting games and some platformers. Can't play anything else without keyboard and mouse.

Best peripheral I have ever bought was a ergonomic chair. I was going through one of those cheap Game chairs or gaming chairs every year or so. Anywhere from 2 - 4k a pop and decided to get.

Got one around 2017 and used it for years until my wife got back ache and started using it, hence it was stolen.

Then got this one in pleather with the intention of changing it to leather when the pleather wore through. 3 years later the pleather is still 100%.

Both chairs are in perfect condition and if you are looking for a chair these last forever and are worth the money. If in JHB you can test them at the show room.

My other peripherals were always Razer until all their products went for a ball and now I am using Red Dragon/Logitech. Logitech g515, Logitech M650, Red dragon Storm the mesh one that is very light and stops hand mugginess, Red Dragon k506 that just won't give up.

For a long time, the gaming galaxy was owned by Logitech and Razer, and some other notable but lesser names when it comes to sales volume. Then the Chinese and Indians took their beers and took over. What is going on???

Ok, so I want this thread to be about recommending not good, but great value peripherals, whether it is mice, controllers, keyboards or headsets, even mousepads, etc.

Mouse - Lamzu Maya Aimlabs
K/B: Keychron Q6 Max
Mousepad: Keychron black XL
Headset: Asus ROG Kithara
Controller: ROG Raikiri II
DAC: Fosi Audio K7

I settled on these after trying various alternatives that are more and less expensive, checked reviews etc. It;s the best mix for my needs now.

Geez, no, Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE?

How is the ROG Kithara, and does the Fosi help them?

I am currently training on Aimlabs with a Cyclone 2. It took a long while, and that is without any aim assist whatsoever.

The Kithara is more for comfort - its very comfy and at the same time has studio-quality sound when used with the Fosi DAC.

I can do better - but for the cost/performance this is as about as good as it can be for me. There's no use spending tens of thousands more just for a slight improvement you can barely even hear.

I also make extensive use of the headset and the mic that also connects to the DAC, for Zoom/Teams in addition to gaming.
