4MB/ps telkom line syncing at 1.2MB/ps HELP!

Guys please help me, i've phoned telkom and told them about this but all they say is your line is syncing at 4mbps, i've upgraded my line from 1mbps to 4mbps but when i phone them all they say is that it is syncing at 4mbps, please help, i have tried to reboot the router, tried using another route and have had the same results over and over,i get theese speeds both at night and during the day

Speedtest.net results are fairly useless.

Log in on your ADSL modem and post your ADSL line's stats. We require your line attenuations, line speeds and SNR/noise margins...

Lastly, post a traceroute to www.google.co.za here too.

+1. Speedtest.net does not tell you at what speed your line is syncing. You can only tell this by logging into your ADSL router and looking at the stats.

Your line might be 4 Mbps but what ISP account do you have, perhaps 1 Mbps uncapped?

You are getting over 512 on your upload, which leads me to believe your exchange is 10mbps enabled. So your line is trying to sync at 10mbps but can't. Ask Telkom to change your sync profile to 6 or 4mbps.
