I throw a towel over mine and unplug my case fans, seems to do the trick and my CPU temps still stay under 30C

Back in 14th 
Mine worked fine.... it was however flippen slow. Where I usually get ~ 18GB, I got 12 this morning.

Seemed to work fine for me last night. I have noticed that sometimes it does get a bit slower, but nothing that serious.

This sounds like WebAfrica are CHEATING the system. They offer a competition and then shape the downloader that is in the lead. If I remember correctly wasn't it the one who downloaded the most. Therefore their competition, customer support and loyalty are in question cause they are FILTHY LIARS.... you were CAPPED cause you kicking the **** out of there SLOPPY network

Two nights in a row now for me too, around 86GB. I did start the downloads a few minutes late though.
If you're in second place, you're currently on 2TB. That means you average 100GB per day.... so dropping by 10% isn't really 'drastically'

Got off to a late start, only around the 7th we started downloading. So in your calculations work out from the 7th not the 1st.
WebAfrica seems to have bitten off more than they can chew with this competition. 
This is now the second night in a week that no traffic is moving on their network, although the connection is established and checks out on their dsl console (after switching to the backup Afrihost account, it wont even open with the WebAfrica account).
Update: Guess the guy in 1st place is from JNB.
This 'software upgrade' could have decided the winner if the 1st and 2nd positions were closely contested.

I've had no issues the rest of the time but it's dead now, flat line.
