3G is 3G, there's no difference between an iPad and any other tablet/smartphone/PC. Those prices aren't too bad.

Well its almost a 3rd of what you pay out of bundle
Being out of the mobile data bundle price loop, how much does 3gb usually go for?

Well it's a good price, compared to MTN and Vodacom. It's still more expensive than Cell C's promotional SIM's.
That said I think 1gb a month is plenty for an iPad, and anyway, Cell C's network isn't supported by the iPad natively.

iPad 2 should be OK with Cell Cs 900Mhz network
The iPhone 4 supports 900Mhz and I am pretty sure that the data side will be common on the 2 devices.
iPhone 3G and S I think did not have 900MHz support
Since iPhone 4 came out after the iPad 1 it stands to reason that iPad 2 will fix that gap.
So iPad 1 gets transferred to the wifey. I get iPad 2 with the Cell C SIM

1. 512MB for R120
2. 1GB for R160
3. 3GB for R299
How is this a bargain if you buy 12 months upfront from Cell C for R83.25 per month, for 2 (two) Gigs, on a faster data network?
So you don't want 2 gigs, only 1 Gig? Well, do I really have to point out you can use as much of the 2 Gig as you need and the price is still R83 and still cheaper (and you shouldn't go OOB either)!
I must be missing something 8ta...

Not too bad actually....maybe a dumb question but I have a WiFi only iPad;when out of WiFi Network I have my trusty N82 which I use as Mobile Hotspot with a prepaid Voda Sim Card and it works really well except for data usage...
Can I get these 8ta data bundle;physical;SIM Card and load it in my N82 for Mobile Hotspot function?!
