8ta sim in a Motorola Xoom

I signed up for the 10gb contract on the weekend and the sim card is working perfectly in my modem for my PC and I tried it in my phone (galaxy s2) and it works perfectly. But for some reason it wont work in my Motorola Xoom tablet (It just says the sim has been removed as soon as the tablet starts up). I tried my Virgin mobile sim in the Xoom and that works perfectly.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Do I need a special sim from 8ta that works on a tablet?

This really is baffling me. I went back to the 8ta store and tried a different 8ta sim card and it doesnt work either. I just can't think of a reason my xoom can read other sim cards but not 8ta ones?

We have a new SIM for you, have tested it in a Motorola Xoom and it works. Please respond to our email. We need to deliver the SIM to you.

We are investigating the reason why the SIMs you have been provided do not work. Please leave your SIM card with whoever provides you with the new one.
