I always use prepaid data packages so I can swap between special offers as and when they arise, as well as move between networks when the service is really shoddy.
The pricing of 8ta's 2+1 special has worked out really well for me and, up until about 3 weeks ago, conectivity and speed was fine. Then things took a bit of a dip.
I emailed the 8ta representative on the forum who escalated it, and a techie came out on Monday to check the speeds and signal strength, confirming there was an issue and reported it. The following evening things were back to normal.
8ta followed up this morning, confirming there was an issue that they had addressed.
The service was very efficient and (most importantly) effective!
This is much more than I can say from Vodacom whose service was always sub-par and triple the price.
Thanks 8ta
