my mouth hung open when she said it takes telkom mobile 9 working days to resolve a case. But let me start at the beginning.

27 jun 2017 I loyally paid my account
30 jun 2017 telkom debited me for the amount I'd already paid
1 jul 2017 I had the unauthorized debit reversed

everyday since then automated calls and smsses about my unpaid account but each days call to the telkom mobile call center it gets confirmed that the account is up to date and they're escalating it for rectification

18 jul 2017 telkom mobiles debited me again which failed and so my bank too now penalized me

How many people a month get *****ed over by telkom mobile that they take so long to rectify there errors

Capitec only penalizes one a R5 for a bounced debit order...

As to the topic, automated systems are like that, Telkom support is still Telkom support, which means pretty incompetent.

Well this is exactly what happened with me.

I paid on time. Telkom tried to debit me later which failed. Capitec charged me R5 for failed debit order and Telkom added R200 for the failed debit order although I already paid the account in full what was due.

Fast forward 1 month later my account is suspended for the R200 rejection fee Telkom charged me and after logging a total of 12 queries they are refusing to credit my account with R200 and my account is still suspended......

I rather just pay the R200 and keep on fighting.

Worst company in the world. Nice deals but support and billing is the worst I've seen ever

The OP shud note.. Debit orders are loaded like 10 days earlier for most companies.. But when it comes to contracts, if u pay early they will still debit as per contract u signed.. Hence let the debit order run off..

I had experience with this as well but with vodacom
