Nice thing is that it has dual 1Gb/s Ethernet interfaces.

Cheap ARM boxes are everywhere, but most of them are underpowered Android TV dongles. Introducing Utilite, a very exciting and fully integrated ARM / Ubuntu PC.

it also looks like a potential great entry level box for SA. Telkom Mobile could really have a nice deal at about 1.5k through Game, Jet and Pep with data, a dongle and this box.

Would be better with windows 8 on it....

oohh I can see this being used as a QoS filter . Interesting though , but how would one set up the usernames and such , or just go with Mac addys ?

^ Nope ARM
=== Windows RT
therefore Locked OS

BUT with remote desktop software ...

This thing is already pretty awesome, would be even cooler if it had a infra-red receiver, but then again I assume you should be able to control it via TV remote using the HDMI control protocol. Pretty amazing at this price point.

✓ mSATA SSD, up to 512GB

Missed this. So with a msata-to-sata adapter + one of those things that splits a sata port into multiple sata connectors this thing has awesome potential.
