"Some guy is so intent on spoiling Game of Thrones that he actually wrote a series of novels dedicated to telling you what's gonna happen."

The white walkers sure walk slow. Must be a bunch of geriatrics. This will explain the white hair.
We are already in Season 4 and they are still north of the wall. Right where they were in season 1.

Not so much interested in that storyline

**spoiler alert**
This series is a a prequel to Walking dead. Westeros is actually Europe before the land bridge between the British isles and Europe was flooded. Walking dead starts where the white "walkers" reaches civilization.

According to the books the gist of this is true, but we also know the "guilty party" did not act alone. It was a concerted effort.

Ja, even after reading the books you're still not a 100% sure... but are you?

I'm going to have to consider blocking/unfriending my American Facebook friends or staying off of FB for a day or two until I watch the latest episode. One of them ruined episode two for me. Would have been another Red Wedding moment.

Is this the only Game of Throne threads? I don't want to be exposed to conversations by folks that have read the books either.

I read the books, but can't remember picking up any guilty party at all. I think I was too engrossed in what happens to Tyrion.

There is a reason they can't get south of the wall. It is known. By those who read the books.

I don't even remember this reason!!

EDIT: Just checked GoTwiki, its a stupidly simple reason.

Hmm, not sure how you missed it.

Yeah man, time for a reread methinks. I've lost the plot, literally.

**spoiler, highlight to see**
The wall is enchanted. The dead cannot pass through it. Also the reason why the horseman who protects Bran and his friends (Coldhands) cannot pass through it.
**end spoiler**
