Well I guess I'm making that judgement based on the FBI's pop-culture status rather than actual success rates. I'd never even *heard* of the Scorpions before this whole thing came up but even so, how often do you hear about their activities? Every time one of these organisations makes arrests they like to milk it for all it's worth in the media.

Every single SA documentry I've seen on organised crime has never even *mentioned* them. Then again, I don't know if that's even their function.

Actually it's an age-old forum tactic- make statements then chicken out when you've not got the facts to substantiate what you've said.
