Adobeflash now on iPhone, iPad

I propose a ban (or at least a strike) for anybody that derails a thread with stupid flame-wars! (In this case it was post #13) Any seconds?

Nope ,drop the isheep mentality and stop trying to ban anyone with an opinion aligned against apple....patent much?

Seriously my intentions were never to flame anybody but I am not a fan boy,I would actually buy an apple device if they support flash(that was my one biggest gripe with MY old iphones.i.e.original iphone and 3gs)

I am genuinely upset at apples childish behavior with this whole patent debacle, other companies have tons of much more real patents which I wont go into now but nobody abuses patents like this...im really disappointed at apple and I'm sorry if you cant get your head around that.

Agreed but peeps can't help themselves!!! Any opportunity to have a dig. We gone from adobe flash to patent wars, go figure... I guess there not enough patent war threads on this forum that they have to hijack this one and every other where Apple is mentioned in the thread title... Malakies...

iOS is based on osx and unless you're a mac user you won't understand just how badly it hammers your CPU - Adobe just didn't do a good enough job. Hammer a cpu on a phone and the battery life is going to be atrocious. This seems like a happy compromise. I'm glad Adobe capitulated.

falcon, I have no problem with your views - you are entitled to them but please air them in the appropriate place. Start a new thread so that those with no interest in Apple's patent war can ignore them, rather than diluting the discussion of Adobeflash on iOS devices

Which is still not really out is it?
It remains to be seen if most websites adopt this.....lets hope they do as I'm tired of waiting for apple to support flash......

Oh btw I have never flamed any patent war flaming on any other thread maybe i just missed those then.....

i don't really understand the point of the adobe media server. jstrike, can you explain what it offers over and above other services like youtube vimeo etc?
