ADSL ISP complaints and compliments

Wow that is a bad indicator to use. I think people are far more likely to post complaints on hellopeter than compliments, so that should be taken into account. I think perhaps some indication of size of userbase per ISP with relation to number of complaints would give a more balanced ROUGH indicator.

I wouldn't say that. Out of all the ISP's I've been with, Telkom Internet is the only one who has had perfect uptime and consistently high speeds.

People need to realise that Telkom Internet and Telkom SA are not the same. Telkom Internet deals with data accounts, on the same level as Openweb for example. Where as Telkom SA deals with the copper, telephone and adsl lines.

Every time something goes wrong on the Telkom SA side, Telkom Internet are wrongly accused.

I reckon there service levels are so good that people have no need for Hello Peter.

Or they are not that big an ISP.:erm:

Openweb service is shocking...
They have 1 guy on support and he has no power to fix things.

They give out users account details to other users when the other user are having problems.

Perhaps a better approach is to examine the complaints-to-compliments conversion rate of each ISP
