ADSL Issues in KZN Midlands?

I use a wireless provider to get me itnernet in the bundus where I live, of late since about the 25th of August the international pings have been really bad and swinging suddenly back to the stable 230 or so to google.co.uk.

Currently it fluctuates wildly from the 250 to 1200. My wireless ISP guy tells me its a ADSL issue in the midlands and that everyone in PMB/Howick area are affected.

Does anyone have any information on this? It is starting to drive me crazy.

Tell me more as I have mates that also live in those bundus and only get feeble EDGE connectivity. Who is the provider?

yeah it will be interesting to see who the provider is for your internet and what connection speeds do you get?

Check out for any technical issues like no traffic to DSLAM ???
It more like over subscribing and he needs to purchase some more bandwidth.
