"Adventurous" things to do on first date

Do people still play putt-putt?

Strangely enough, yes! My kids enjoy the mini-golf at the Boardwalk complex. And the go-karts. And the Tenpin bowling.

We drop them off and then disappear... (not to the casino, I'm not a sucker!)

LIES! Everyone is a sucker for casinos. It's just the natural order of things :p

My brother-in-law is a casino manager and I'm a bean counter.

The odds are not in the gambler's favour. Ever!

I rather buy music dvds.

I meant official capital, you know - for atlas purposes :D

Yeah, I dig putt-putt!
I dont know about your atlas but each one that I've seen has all three indicated as capital cities. SA is fairly unique in this regard.

I guess as the kids get older it will be more appealing for the family. I hate the boardwalk though. :(

Aaaah. Having a relative who runs a casino is a big plus. My dad managed a lot of small casinos in PE, Cape Town and such places. Once you see what people are like, it really turns you off.

Okay, well, I've basically pulled out all the stops on the first date...
LOL, there really not much remaining to do in Potch than going to the movies, dinner, cocktails at the river ect. :p
Think it's time for my creativity to lighten up! :D

* Putt-putt would've been nice, come to think of it...

Howzit guys

OKay, I need some advice please... It's been a while and well, yes, I'm quite out of the "game" and my creativity levels are also quite low.

There's this girl I've been seeing now for a while and we are going "officially" on a date tonight.

Now I'm looking for something interesting and adventurous to do. Not the old cliché movie and dinner thing.
So far I thought of sunset picnic at the river... Keep in mind I'm not located in JHB or DBN or CPT or any big capital for that matter :p So I don't have that big variety of things to choose from.

Anyhowz, any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
Regards
;)

sex. it will break the ice:p

-10 for picnic. Be sure to warn her not to wear something dressy. And take a jacket for her it's not summer yet.
+5 for ten-pin bowling. Can be fun if you let her win.
(optional +5 if you let her win.)
+5 for cocktails if she is dressed for it and has no grass stains:D

YOu can get away with 5 points but you might just have none.

Clearly you have not had a picnic with the right guy :p:D

So...what happened?
Whenis the next date?

Depends on how much you want to 'talk'.. best to choose something you proficient in and she not as it allows you to dispense some helpful advice or if you both novice even more funnier. Gives you something to talk about during and after :p

- ice skating
- carnival + circus <do they still have these, yah i know its for kids but provides with a mix of activity watching etc>
- paintball only if she doesn't look like she might die as a result.. theres always lazer quest :p

hrm.. i need to think of more
