"Adventurous" things to do on first date

I'm a dinner and movies kind of person, if you pick a good cinema + movie then dinner will give you loads of things to talk about.... get her drunk and take her to a motel.
 
Also remember, dont be a noob and eat the popcorn yourself.......

Eish, Potch...not much you can do there that will be considered "unique".

What did I & my wife on a first date...heck, we live in Klerksdorp so we were ever worse off than you! We went for coffee..which turned into a movie..which turned into dinner..and long long after we got married.
I would say to stick to the basics. Not much can go wrong and you won't be overly nervous. The point is to talk and to get to know each other. The really memorable stuff can come later, like popcorn tottie and skydiving. IMO, if you go too big on a first date, things are just that more disappointing if they don't work out.

Take her to Beef Boy's in Potch - they serve both seafood and livestock so you can literally order anything. They have really nice wine too! Book table 1, it's the most private spot in the restaurant.
 
Hey, isn't Klipdrift dam just outside Potch? Sounds like a winner to me...

On a serious note. Your not too far from the Vaal river, why not see if you can't organise a paddle boat ride on the Vaal?
 
Whatever you do...don't take her to visit the family on the first date :p :)

OKay, there's some really "interesting" replies, but overall, I appreciate all your input guys!

Just came back from doing some shopping... I decided on the picnic thing after all, bought some nice goodies and some good wine.
Afterwards I thought we could go ten-pin bowling (should be fun).
And then maybe some cocktails at a chill-lounge.

But hey, now I know where to come to if I need advice .

-10 for picnic. Be sure to warn her not to wear something dressy. And take a jacket for her it's not summer yet.
+5 for ten-pin bowling. Can be fun if you let her win.

+5 for cocktails if she is dressed for it and has no grass stains:D

YOu can get away with 5 points but you might just have none.

I agree with you on this. Picnics are a bit meh, but hey she might be a sucker for those kind of things.
Agree with the bowling and the cocktails, they quite cool and something different.

Take her for an icecream afterwards, nothing cornier than sharing a sundae. :p
