umm....

we recently played italy away and lost two nil,not embarrassing
we lost 1-0 scotland and we played well not embarrasing either

whats embarrasing is not qualifying for euro 2008 (england)

we have lot of work to do but i think parriera has made a solid start and we can grow from here,i believe zuma is past is prime,pienaar is too small too play zumas position

modise was ownage,he just needs to get those great long shots in,as for mon00b jospehs,hes only playing cus fernadez is injured

Well were they playing for a FIFA trophy? NO
Friendlys like that tend to give the stronger teams a big head, they can score and just chill.
In this competition if there was a team as strong as Italy and they were playing for a win and a 3 goal difference a 8 - 0 score wont be a surprise.

wow your footballs knowledge astounds me,do u know what kind of game italy play?why would a big headed team not want to score more?
 
because its a friendly

most team who play weak opposion will back off after 3 goals

watch any game and you will notice even united arsenal chelsea

ok the newcastle game was different because they gave united space to move

also remember that italy game was played but mostly the 2nd team
 
Gilardino,de rossi,chenielli are 1st tea mbut yes it was their 2nd team
they scored twice in the last ten minutes
 
im also dissapointed ghana didnt thrash namibia....

i was hoping our desert neighbours would get owned,but they played well..

They play defensive... against real opposition...
Well my thinking at the time was they to good for us and dont wanna humiliate them.
 
i think the italians are over rated,they may be world cup winners but i think arg should have won it..
 
I think against angola we played very well, except for 1 thing.... our finishing. We almost played the way the greatest team alive plays (Arsenal :D). The only problem was that we had 4 players in the center of the box and no space to shoot all the time. i think if we had Benni's presence, even if he doesnt score goals, just the fact that hes there to pressure the opposition we would've pummled angola. no matter how bad we do i will support SA because i am South African and i have supported the rugby, cricket, olympics etc. so now why not support BB? COMON BOIZ LETS DO IT! :D :D :D

true that,im loving the passing to feet as opposed to the old long ball style,our problem is we are playing a bit wide and dont have a big target man,we have great wingers but we should try get the ball going down the centre,its the easiest way to get it to our strikers,id also like to see more counter attacking by us...we have the pace..

the game against senegal is going to be tough,they are one of the best teams in africa..
 
We whipped the Windies in the cricket today but I guess it's a bit hard to expect the same from our soccer boys. :( Bafana sucks..

i agree,the quality wasnt there tonight,im very dissapointed...i doubt wel get through now,im even more suprised that senegal lost 3-1 to angola!!guess we did well against them in the end...

A lot of the passing was not accurate - we gve away the ball too easily. Longer term we need bigger guys. We are just out muscled.
 
I want Bafana players to get fined everytime they kick the ball 50cm or more over the cross bar!!! I hate that yet they players go ooooh ahhhh like it was so close!!

I feel disappointed, they let us as a nation down and even Mr Blater who has so much faith in them.

This coach changed nothin IMO they still play crap and cant score(or come close to scoring)

It didnt look like they played with their hearts, that Zuma clown is a waste he did nothing. Maybe he needs support but still, good strikers make something out of nothing.

Like Etoo, even though they not in the same league, Etoo is a poucher he steals balls and converts them.

Errr hes a poucher for Barca and Cameroon, am i supposed to create a match with Bafana to judge his abilities?:p
