afrihost 1mbps uncap

i am with mweb atm.

what is the max download (gb) i can do b4 i get trottled
and what is sharped and what is now

i do gaming and vids mostly

how does youtube/putlocker etc... stream?

i saw on a other thread mweb sharp youtube and i didnt known that

my exchange is currently not 100% so i get lie 58kb/s used to get like 110kb/s

what speed will i get with afrihost if my exchange is 100% working,i am about 3km away from mine

i may or may not swith to afrihost i dont know yet :)

Thanks for this thread. I know it's sometimes difficult to get info when there are pages of posts to go through.

On a 1Mbps account, you can probably do 120GB+ before throttle. You speed will never drop below 512kbps if throttled.

Youtube is not shaped. If your exchange is running 100%, you should expect anything from 600kbps to 900kbps, depending on the quality of the copper and the distance from the exchange. An exact calculation is not really possible.

If you decide to switch over to us, just give me a shout if you have any hassles or need some info :)

thank you 120gb so thats about 12H full download aday & 100kb/s to reatch that..i dont download that mutch in a day (4gb a day)

i'll think about it,and i will let you know

i know,i saw 4mbps and 10mbps but not 1mbps :)
 
hi there i signed up on the 6/06/2012 with afrihost average speed is 100 kBps. i have already downloaded 52 Gb in 7 days,
gaming is good cod4 90 ping.

i will recommend afrihost its cheaper and you get the same service if not better.
 
Stay with MWEB and use their news server to get the most out of your 1Mb line.

I don't stream YouTube on my 1Mb line- use flashvideodownloader, select HD and let it do it's thing :)
