We downloaded 1TB of data on Afrihost's mobile uncapped package in 3 days

MyBroadband tested Afrihost's new uncapped Air Mobile data service and didn't trigger its throttling rules until after an APN outage.

Officially, the Afrihost Air Mobile uncapped package offers 100GB at full mobile speeds, then another 50GB limited to 8Mbps and 50GB limited to 4Mbps.

Possibly the continuous download kept the session open, and the speed limit is only applied once a session ends. The API outage ended the session and applied the speed limit.

I read the previous article, and it states that a MTN contract sim can be used for the Air Data package, however the call center agent states that only a MTN prepaid can and only be used. Can anyone please advise

There are some provisioning issues but for the most part it can work. If it fails we log tickets with MTN Business to assist.
