Torrents are still "optimised" to hell. Business customers really aren't getting what they're paying for at the moment.

Our Business Uncapped users are definitely not being shaped or throttled, any optimization that occurs on our network will be on our Uncapped users P2P and HTTP downloads.

I can't be bothered to argue about this. I'm definitely not getting the speeds I should be.

Edit : that's only on torrents. Everything else works fine.

Is your Business Optimisation enabled or disabled in the Clientzone? If this is enabled, it will definitely be affected your P2P speeds.

Quick question, is there any technical write up on how business optimization works?

For example, does it allow torrents to reach higher speeds when the line is not busy doing other things?
Or does it just limit torrents to a specific threshold 24/7.

Also does Business Optimization limit torrents on both upload and download or just download?

With Business Optimisation enabled, P2P downloads will be shaped to only a few Kb/s for both downloading and uploading. Real-time services will be completely unaffected by Business Optimisation. Business Optimisation is largely aimed and small and medium sizes businesses that want to prevent P2P downloads, but do not necessarily have the knowledge or understanding to implement this on their own system or network.

WTH, seriously during the day one gets decent - not UNSHAPED bandwidth, then suddenly after hours there no bandwidth,

Download Speed: 697 kbps (87.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 680 kbps (85 KB/sec transfer rate)

Nvidia drivers are crawling at 4.02KB/s WTH I mean what the point of paying for business when the net is unusable.

Once again speeds in the toilet, barely getting 20% of line (10Mb).

AfriPeople... tell us again how the network is working fine and these are just "isolated cases", or "exchange congestion"!

This is now beginning to really P**S ME OFF - it's been 3 months of this Frakin Shyte... when will it be resolved???? I have wasted the whole day not being able to access my VPS and work because of this. Here I thought I could do it this evening (more time away from my family), but NO! It's now even WORSE.

Either FIX IT, or HIRE SOMEONE WHO CAN... this is completely unprofessional, and down-right p**s-poor business practice :mad:

I don't have this bad service from afrihost I send trace download logs show them other provider I get full line speed

You can't tell me exchange congestion here by me, Telkom and WA accounts max my line and this crappy so called premium uncapped package can't even stream YouTube @144p Explain that !
