The high latency on both those speedtests are worrisome. I have followed up with AfriGuy, and I have asked that he get back to you as quickly as possible with an update.

Just so you know the tracert and second speed test is from my WA account, the first test is from my AH 4mb Bus account, this is the info i sent him via PM but not getting anywhere in terms of support from AH. Feeling its time to jump ship bcoz since Moerse Treurige Network (MTN) bought you over you guys have been burning......

20MB business, cannot watch youtube at 720p. Just buffers. Plays fine at 144p :/

I'm going to have to try WebAfrica next month. AH Business is a good account when it works, but that has been a hit and miss the last couple of weeks.

We are in the process of updating the routing to various Google services, we will need to see if this improves the Youtube performance, I should have further news soon.

Exchange has a disease, but the 3rd hop seems to have a decently high latency, too.

Speeds seem okay. Just ping is pretty bad. Been like this since I got home (~11AM)

So, was about to lodge a formal bitch .... but glad I didnt.

Seems the line from the phone jack to the router was a bit faulty -

I was getting erratic speeds and high pings over wifi from the router (DGN 2200) - did the whole troubleshooter thing - and changed this cable - voila.

Sounds simple when I post it here - and obvious - but, maybe useful for other people in future - a good thing to check.

Yip, but still, this has been going on since last week, how long does it take to sort this out? They know what the problem is, so why is it taking so long to fix.....

What's more frustrating is that this was supposedly fixed a while ago, but keeps on coming back. So somehow the fixes does not stick.
