Well. My web africa account is also having problems at the moment. At least they have acknowledged that there is a problem and they are working on it.

I'm sorry I've taken a while to reply, please understand that I've been really, really busy today. I try my best to get back to everyone as quickly as I can.
I've replied to your PM.

Cool, thanks, and please understand, I have been really really patient.

All I ask, is that you send me a PM or a post saying you are busy and will get back to me in an hour, as your tele operator did.

AfriG asked for info, which I sent, but he too could have said he was leaving. Instead, I was left to try to find info like a moron.
Difficult for me to see him leaving when I am 500Kms away.

The good news is, thanks to a helpful tele operator, an account authentication error and a bit of a heavy cell bill at my expense as well as spending most of the evening trying to get some support, the issue is now seemingly resolved.

Sorry you had a busy day at the office. I shant be bugging you any more.

Is it just me or has Afrihost killed torrents? I can't get even a top seeded torrent to download more than 1.5KB/s. Speed tests are normal. The one time I need the Glasnost test it seems to be having problems with Java.

It seems there is an issue with business optimisation. I had same, and had to get them to do a bit of work on the account to fix it.

yes everything just died for us as well

My torrents are dead too

The AH standard accounts are having same problem,

Seems some ID 1o T did something he shouldnt have ...

My torrents are ok now, after last nights little customer service nightmare and a whole bunch of tweaking and resetting by a very helpful and polite AH techie.

I am still experiencing wonderful Latency in the East, Day 6

Do you also get that same latency when you try to use the Test Account that I sent you?

Yip, my torrents are dead too, so what did he do so i dont have to go through the whole process?

Pretty sure I was being throttled last night... Watched Youtube videos and they were buffering on anything above 240p. Also, NTV on Kodi was buffering all the damn time. That's why I started watching stuff on Youtube in the first place - 240p on Youtube is better than **** all, right?

Then at about 23:00 the video it went to next on the playlist, went to 480p without a hitch. A little while later I checked out Kodi, and sure enough there was no issue at all any more either.

I must add that speedtests and pings were perfectly normal every time I tested it. Traceroute was pretty consistent as well.

Now if that doesn't indicate an issue specifically at Afrihost, then I don't know what does. No IPC problem either.

Be honest, are we being "test" throttled again?

I really need to stress that no shaping/ throttling takes place on our Business account. If it was on the same profile as Uncapped accounts - streaming wouldn't be shaped either :)
Could you PM me your info please? I'd like to run through a few troubleshooting options.
