The way I see it it is very simple . Afrihost is expected to supply a service based on a certain parameters for a price . The problem this month is that we are not getting the service which we pay for and you don't know when Afrihost is going to be in a position to supply a proper service . The ISP (or the bank) is not my friend and everybody how thinks diffrently can try and miss ONE payment .I know there is a lot of speculation happening here, and when network performance hasn't been great this is often something that people assume that we're shaping or throttling. We have to be very careful that we don't diminish the product, even in the short term. We can allow a measure of contention as this is covered in our terms, but we can't actively rate limit services or protocols on an unshaped product. I think it would create something much worse that a poor experience today to go back on our client's trust and I don't think our management or engineers would ever do that![]()
Botton line If you can supply the product for the price , good NO bye bye . The rest like throteling ,shaping ,optimizing ,trust ,soon everything is going to be OK etc is meaningless.
