Afriguy my results etc were via email, do you have an address I can forward it to you?

It'll be the same email address as Afrimans.
PM might be easier, I can follow up from there. I've also asked AfriMan to follow this up.

I have forwarded my email trail to the same address. there is far too many lines of text for a pm

Just chatted to AfriMan, I believe he's waiting for a bit more info from you.
Please FW him and relevant tests.

I sent that all on Friday 4:28pm

Yo

The last mail I got was regarding Amazon null routing, which we haven't been able to replicate. The issue is that we need to give MTN a way to replicate or demonstrate the issue, because they believe the server is up and pinging normal latency.

I've asked one of our guys to reply to the email and do some tests with you that we can use to escalate to MTN and he should reply to your latest mail shortly :(

Hey guys

We've officially got another legend on our team, introducing AfriGenie!
Say howzit, be nice, be gentle (don't want to scare him off just yet ;)) and ask away.

He'll be helping AfriMan and myself around these parts.
He's been in the Afrihost family for ages, so he definitely knows his stuff, great to have him on board with us!

Good Day Afri*

I replied to Eugene on Monday at 2:24pm. Still no contact.

Bad idea...these animals will tear him to shreads. Rather let him use your account.

We created a test user group from people complaining on multiple platforms and tested with them while monitoring their traffic. By doing this we were able to create a rule to ensure that Destiny traffic is classified correctly, as we did not have a signature for it on our system. Since then all those testing have reported that they can connect and game without disconnects.

If you're still battling, we need to troubleshoot and see why your experience is different to the test group and other clients reporting that the game is working fine now :(

Can you provide specifics on this? For example that feedback is a bit washed out in the sense, that Bungie releases KTO (kick to orbit) fixes on 6th October. Zebra errors (sign in issues) where fixed on 7/10. In most cases where Destiny players see KTO errors - either sudden KTO or via error (BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD) it is typically a result of packet-loss, IP-saturation or general ISP issue. Granted if the BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD-errors occur all the time it is a user's NAT issue, but most of us have port-forwarding (or in my case the PS4 is in a DMZ with everything open).

On the 10/10 bungee fixed the BEE/FLY/LION-errors which where aggravated by ISP routing issues, packet loss etc. I would honestly like to understand, what Afrihost has done to "update" the signature - so if you can post details with regards if your signature update contained marking certain inbound/outbound ports for Destiny, I would certainly like to get an update, as this will at least assure me that there was some actually change done, and was just not pure coincidence.

TBH Destiny is really only one gripe (as it screwed over my planned gaming weekend), but more important is that the majority of time I am incapable of working from home, since my VPN frequently drops (both via Fortigate VPN client as well as via stock-standard SSH tunnels). Even SSH terminals will disconnect and to me it seems that whatever QoS controls you have in place, it severely affects real-time service such as VPN, SQL connections etc. As an example, I have not been able to establish an Oracle connection via VPN through Afrihost, although this works perfectly fine via Neotel fibre.
