It looks like quite a few of you guys in the South are seeing reduced throughput at the moment, we're looking into this from our side, the North and East look to be running okay at the moment, so I think it may be a local issue to the South.

And yet still no status update was given that day!

Good day Thorsten
Modiegi here on behalf of Keenan

Thank you for your much valued response
I am terribly sorry for the poor manner in which your query was handled. We are well aware of that the level of service at
the moment is not up to scratch and can assure you that we are currently doing everything w can to fix that. We are in the
process of getting more staff and have continuous monitoring and assessment on all our consultants. We are working
really hard to get back to the type of service you've come to know from us over the years. I am glad to hear that your
problem was resolved nonetheless.

Again I'm truly sorry for the bad experience and thank you for bringing this to my attention
Your feedback is much appreciated

Have a great day and please let me know if I can help with anything else!

Warm regards

Modiegi

We're still investigating the possible causes, as soon as we have any sort of information on what is causing this we'll post the update on the Status Page.

Can you please test your accounts again, you should be seeing a significant improvement, it seems the incorrect throughput limit had been set for our Business Uncapped and Capped accounts so we were under-utilizing the IPC. This has been updated to the correct threshold now.

You used to post that something's wrong, and then post an update on it later. Has this process changed/fallen away? Nothing was posted on the weekend's issues either I see.

Nee man. So kan ons mos nie saamwerk nie.

In this particular instance the specific issue affecting the Business Uncapped and Capped users was resolved before we could even post an update on the Network Status.

If anything else crops - although I hope it doesn't - I'll make sure we update the page ASAP.

Huh, Durban in the South?

I get nervous when you make comments like this considering the substantial posts and evidence I have furnished over the past two days ... clearly stating I am in the East and in Durban.

Please reassure me that the issue is being dealt with country wide?

Edit .... glad to see that you have taken steps to resolve it though - thanks.

The issue over the weekend affected users countrywide, whilst only users in the South were affected this afternoon. Needless to say everyone should running at considerably improved speeds now.

What sort of speeds are you getting on your P2P downloads? Could you also run a speedtest so that I can get an idea of the disparity between the two.
