Prices on the website are correct. Which package did you want to sign up for?

Check clientzone and make sure that protocol prioritization is switched off. This limits p2p usage on business accounts, but is completely voluntary.

Hi Afrigirl
I got the 1meg bundle it said R297 or R397 .. i was not sure if 2meg is R397 or R497 and did not wanna take a chance
We've recently updated our pricing to fall in line with the recent Telkom line upgrades![]()
Tx Afriguy, I am a bit confused with the prices on clientzone and the website. Can you pls give me the right price for the 2meg Bundle pls
Is it ..
R397 excluding DSL line rental
R497 including DSL line rental

The 2Mbps Business Uncapped Bundled price is R497 which includes your DSL line rental or R397/ month for the data only.
So how does this saving translation to a bundle if any ?
eg. 6mbs + line = ??
If the package wasn't bundled, you'd pay R1196. With a bundled line you'd only have to pay R1097, saving R99![]()
But I'm already saving
So there is no price change then for business accounts bundled ?
So, basically 1Mbps subscribers aren't getting any discounts whatsoever.
:erm:
AFRIHOST!!! YOU GUYS FLIPPEN ROCK!! ive never in my life seen 100kbps download during the day... my fiance has got some stiff competition now for my hand in marriage because it looks like im gonna be marrying my 1meg business account(which will hopfully get upgraded for free as a xmas gift to us*hint hint nudge nudge*
They are, 1Mbps up to 4Mbps are seeing an adjusted price.
I think it would have been better if Telkom cut the IPC costs by 50% instead of upgrading line speeds, but they did what's best for Telkom I suppose.
You say they adjusted the price but was the 1meg bundle not R397 before the line upgrades
There are indeed, anything from 4Mbps and down, as this is the savings that Telkom have passed on![]()
