Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback

That sounds like a problem though - I connect on one IP range, and Bus Uncapped performance is dismal - then connect later on a different one, and am getting the promised speeds. That's way too much of a pot luck situation - not worth investigating?

There are other reasons behind why this might be happening.
PM me your deets and I'll have our team run some checking for you.

You have them already from 2 days ago - sent you the network check tool output along with account details and number.

Cool thanks, I've lost track of who's PM'ed me what to be honest :(
I'll do some digging and have our team check things out.

In the new client zone, the Fix Line options don't work. I phoned and reported the problem, but the person I spoke to was either too busy to listen to me, or did not understand my problem.

Have you got line filters on all your devices? Phones/Alarms etc

There may be an exchange/ line issue here :(
Could you PM me your line number and I'll run through some troubleshooting with you.

Can't get to some overseas sites at all and most are very slow. Tried to log a ticket...

4MB Uncapped, we should not pay for this type of service. Afrihost have seriously dropped the ball.

Line is absolutely crawling :(. Torrents are going nowhere (and pick up to full speed the moment I switch to my Afrihost 3G Wireless), browsing is painfully slow and youtube needs buffering at 240p.
Moved over to Business Uncapped last week from Home Uncapped and it feels a whole lot worse :/ At least I could turbocharge my Home Uncapped account and get the speeds I was paying for (even if only for a few hours)

Grab a free 1gig account to see if it's really your line:

Dear Afrihost

Why is my Business Unshaped account being shaped ?
I get around 100KB/s on patching and updates on the business product,
But I get full line speed (+- 800KB/s) on a Afrihost Capped account

Ticket ID: SEA-523-44787

Hmm? Please check the new clientzone and make sure Protocol Prioritisation is turned off :)
