R999 excluding line rental though for WA 10mb business uncapped... You could currently get 500gb's of Afrihost capped, unshaped data for that amount....

What is the WA FUP like? And daytime shaping/throttling?
The AUP doesn't mention any numbers so I'm not sure. The usage panel does have stars though, so I'll see if my usage trips these and leave if it does. I have 30 days to find this out (money back guarantee). No shaping or throttling that I've noticed during the day, but it's only been a day. The streaming experience is just so much better than AH though.

I'm paying 4mb prices :p.

How much you burn through a month?

Used to do 800GB to a peak of 1.2TB during school holidays. Think it is quite a bit lower now as we use SD quality for general shows and only HD for top shows. Will check to see what my averages have been this year since we started doing this.

EDIT: Stats show 378GB for the month so far with an average daily usage of 17.4GB. So it has dropped.
Can't find anywhere to check past months usage though.

Please keep me posted. Very curious. Will have to go PM though to prevent a derail here (or start a thread).

Cannot stream hulu+ tonight. Keeps buffering. Been happening quite often lately. Not a happy chappy.

i.got~issues, That's why I voted DA. Will have to wait a little longer.

2Mb Business Uncapped - Super slow tonight:

Sorry to hear that. In the North (I'm guessing from your profile) we're seeing consistent high demand until around 22h00 or so, until we see relief on the network. My best guess is while we're peaking there could be intermittent contention.

I'll do my best to get an indication of when Telkom will deliver the balance of our ordered upgrade - really hoping it will be very soon :(

I am concerned at the high ping on your test though - so I think I'd also like to do a little troubleshooting to make 100% sure there are no other issues. From all my monitoring, we're not seeing any intermittent problems in latency in the North :(

hey Afriman - what happened last night on the network? Looked like about 11h00ish myself and a bunch of friends all had bad ping issues in Diablo 3 and even got booted out at some point (we don't even stay in the same city).
I have a ping running in the background at all times to the UK and noticed at one point for a few seconds it was just solid packet loss.

I didn't see anything on my network reports, but it's possible there was a sudden spike in latency. Are you all in the same city and area?

Nope. Gauteng / Cape Town.

It's very unlikely for the North and South networks to experience latency at the same time - cos they run on different IPC's. Chances are they could even be routing via different undersea cables, depending on the circumstances. My initial thought would be that the commonality would be them all being on the same specific D3 server.
